Ghaziabad, December 23, 2024: Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS) has recently collaborated with Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi and successfully conducted the 19th edition of the Spine and Interventional Pain Management Workshop. The event, led by the internationally acclaimed pain specialist Dr. Neeraj Jain, MD, FIMSA, FIPP (USA), CIPP (Hungary), and Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIIMS, brought together experts and medical professionals to advance specialized training in pain management.
Fifteen delegates from Southeast Asia attended the event, gaining valuable insights and practical skills. The workshop was supported by Dr. Shantanu Mallick from Mumbai, Dr. Sunil Sharma from Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi, and Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIIMS & Noida International University. The workshop featured an extensive program, including dialectic lectures, mannequin-based sessions, cadaver hands-on modules, and live demonstrations of approximately 80 minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. These sessions provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge techniques in spine and pain management.
Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIIMS said, We are thankful to Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital for organising and collaborating for the training programme with NIIMs. The doctors were also very collaborative and helpful who shared the enriched experience with the attendees. NIIMs is looking to happily collaborate with Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital happily in future to gain new experiences.
