Aster Medcity Organizes 3rd Annual Lux-GIANT Scientific Meeting Focused on Parkinson’s Disease Research

Kochi 09th July, 2024: Aster Medcity, Kochi in association with Movement Disorders Society of India, International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society Asian and Oceanian Section, Parkinson’s Foundation organizes 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting of Lux-GIANT. The two day summit from the 13th to the 14th of July will be held in Hotel Le Méridien, Kochi.

The conference will discuss more about the latest advancements in Parkinson’s disease research, surrounding a wide range of topics from biomarkers and genetics to innovative modeling techniques and precision medicine approaches. In the conference, 11 international faculty members and four national faculty members will deliver lectures at the scientific meeting.

“We are happy to bring together leading experts from around the world to discuss and explore the latest advancements in our understanding and treatment of this condition. This event is a crucial platform for addressing key topics in Parkinson’s disease studies and a step forward in the global effort to combat Parkinson’s disease,” said Dr. Asha Kishore, Director – Parkinson’s & Movement Disorder Clinics, Aster Kerala Cluster.

Luxembourg-German Indian Alliance on Neurodegenerative diseases and Therapeutics (Lux-GIANT) is a consortium formed in 2018 to foster collaboration among movement disorders specialists and scientists of India, Germany and Luxembourg for gene discovery in neurodegenerative disease.
