The inception of The Pallikoodam stems from the diverse yet complementary backgrounds of its founders:
Kiran Sampath: With extensive experience in learning and development globally, Kiran recognized the potential of e-learning during the pandemic. Her belief in the transformative power of the arts led her to co-found The Pallikoodam.
Nara Visva: A research graduate from UCL, London, Nara’s meticulous approach to product development, combined with his skills as an artist and fitness expert, makes him an ideal leader for content and learning
Ranjith Govind: An accomplished singer with a celebrated career, Ranjith believes in the universal accessibility of the arts. His expertise and passion drive their vocal training courses
The Pallikoodam began as a bootstrapped startup in January 2021. Since 2023, they have received $150,000 in support from prominent Malaysian HNI’s to help scale their operations and focus on developing technology, building their team, and acquiring resources. They launched their first MVP in May 2021 and have since conducted around 45 batches of both beginner and advanced vocal training courses. After 1.5 years, the positive market response confirmed their course structure’s viability, prompting them to pursue new verticals.

PaatuClass Levels 1 and 2: Vocal training courses taught by Ranjith Govind, the voice behind some of the biggest hit songs in the Indian film industry.
ActingClass Levels 1 and 2: Taught by National Award-winning actor Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, known for her pivotal roles in South Indian cinema across the Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu film Industries.
NatyaClass Levels 1 and 2 (coming soon): Dance and movement fundamentals led by Vithya Arasu, one of the few artists in her industry to have graced Hollywood’s silver screens through her performance in the critically acclaimed film “Life of Pi.”
The platform hosts 8-week instructor-led courses with lessons, daily practices, assignments, live classes, and personalized feedback from the instructor. All this is facilitated through their cutting-edge Learning Management System and their upcoming mobile app.
