Chennai, 20th August 2025: The Women’s Premier Pickleball League (WPPL), an initiative by All Things Pickleball (ATP), is India’s first-of-its-kind professional pickleball league dedicated exclusively to women.

WPPL is designed to empower women athletes, provide them with a professional platform, and bring the excitement of competitive pickleball to a wider audience. The league will feature 10 franchise-owned teams, each comprising 5 women players, competing in a high-energy, professionally managed format.

The tournament will take place in November 2025. WPPL promises top-tier competition, celebrity involvement, and a strong commitment to promoting women in sports at both grassroots and professional levels.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Senthil Ram, Founder WPPL, said, “WPPL is built in the concept of Women First, India’s First bandwidth. We want people to feel pride, excitement, and inspiration. We hope WPPL becomes capitalism to change the stream of Indian sports. It is a main event.”
