During the Panel Discussion around “Data Sovereignty & Localisation: The Future of Trusted Cloud Ecosystems” at the CII Cloud Summit 2025, Mr. Manoj Dhanda, Founder & CTO of Utho Cloud, joined a distinguished panel featuring leaders from Microsoft, CtrlS & Cloud4C, NxGen Cloud & Datacenter, and Yotta Data Services. The Panel highlighted the presence of indigenous cloud service providers as essential to ensure that data is stored and processed within the country’s borders, in strict alignment with national regulations. Such localization fosters greater user trust, aligns with government mandates, and enhances control over sensitive information, particularly in sectors like finance, healthcare, and public services.
