Tisa Studio, the well-known men’s wear label, told a great, valuable, sustainable story for festive clothing, as it drew its inspiration from the tranquil Japanese city of Kyoto at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. The garments were a perfect melody of Japanese and Indian artistry.
The “Nara” collection revolved around the serene elegance of Japanese aesthetics that projected an interesting edge to style for Indian men’s wear.
The colour card reflected Kyoto’s natural atmosphere as earthy hues of olive green, beige, with muted grey and blue created the perfect colour melody. Detailing was the focal point of the garments, as orange twill tape, screen printed Japanese floral motifs, along with hand embroidered Akizakura, an Autumn cherry blossom AND Fall leaves foliage created magic for the embroidery. Shibori tie and dye was further added to bring the embellishments onto a hight level. an Indian touch was given with the Devanagari brass buttons.
There was a vast variety of silhouettes that men could choose from for the coming season. The relaxed jackets were tailored for layering with hints of contemporary work wear inspiration. There were versatile cuts that revealed pleats and asymmetrical hems for the trousers. Layering was achieved with light weight jackets with or without sleeves for varying seasons.
“The ‘Nara’ collection embodies the serene elegance of Japanese aesthetics, infusing a unique edge into Indian men’s wear. With versatile silhouettes and relaxed jackets, this collection offers a contemporary take on tradition.” – Timir Savla and Samira Lavekar, founders of TISASTUDIO, share their vision behind NARA.
The “Nara” collection from Tisa Studio created the perfect Indo-Japanese style merger for the coming festivities.
