The Economic Times Unveils India’s First Awards Celebrating Pioneers Shaping the Future with AI
Mumbai, India, 31th October, 2025: The Economic Times has announced the launch of the ET AI Awards 2025: Celebrating Innovation and Impact, a pioneering platform designed to honour organizations that are redefining industries through responsible and scalable artificial intelligence (AI) innovations.
The awards aim to spotlight both startups and established enterprises that are leveraging AI to solve real-world problems and deliver measurable impact across sectors. As India’s AI ecosystem continues its rapid evolution, the initiative seeks to identify and celebrate genuine breakthroughs that are improving lives, driving efficiency, and advancing sustainable growth.
“The future of AI will be defined not just by disruptive ideas, but by the ability to deliver them responsibly, at scale,” said Puneet Kukreja, VP Product & Reader Revenue, The Economic Times. “Through the ET AI Awards, we honour companies that embody this balance Innovation & Impact in solving real challenges, and Functional Excellence in how those solutions are designed, governed, and deployed.”
The ET AI Awards 2025 will feature two participation tracks:
-
Startups Track – for companies founded within the last five years with annual revenue under ₹50 crore.
-
Enterprise Track – for established organizations with revenue exceeding ₹50 crore implementing AI at scale.
Awards will be presented across four categories Innovation & Impact, Functional Excellence, Leadership Awards, and Special Awards representing areas where AI is driving the most profound business and social transformations.
The evaluation process will unfold in two stages: an initial technical assessment based on innovation quality, scalability, and real-world application, followed by jury deliberations led by senior industry executives and AI specialists to evaluate strategic value and business viability.
Participants will benefit from national recognition through The Economic Times platform, networking opportunities with investors and policymakers, and enhanced visibility among India’s innovation ecosystem.
Nominations are open until November 23, 2025: Detailed submission guidelines and evaluation criteria are available on the official ET AI Awards website. Winners will be celebrated at a dedicated awards ceremony, uniting India’s most visionary AI leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
