The Astor Goa is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Vaibhav Gupta as the new General Manager. With over 18 years of dedicated service in hotel operations, Mr. Gupta brings a wealth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the industry to his role.
Mr. Vaibhav Gupta’s illustrious career began at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts after graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management in Bhopal, India. His journey has taken him through some of the most prestigious hotel brands globally, including Accor Hotels, Radisson, Shangri-La, and The Oberoi. During his association with Accor Hotels he lead promoinent portfolio hotels such Ibis New Delhi Aerocity, Ibis Styles Goa, and Ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road. Notably, the Ibis Kolkata Rajaghat, reached new heights under his able leadership as the General Manager of the hotel.
In 2016, Mr. Gupta participated in the India Executive Leadership Program, and in 2019, he was part of the International Hotel Management Program (Hotel Senior Leadership) with Accor Academy Asia Pacific, underscoring his commitment to personal and professional growth.
In his exemplary career, he is recognised for his relentless commitment to delivering operational excellence. His expertise goes beyond guest service, encompassing various operational facets. His ability to balance property upkeep, revenue optimization, and cost-saving measures exemplifies his dedication to the field.
As the General Manager at The Astor Goa, Mr. Gupta brings on the table his extensive experience towards delivering exceptional guest experience in line with the groups vision of being North Goa’s newest address focyused towards redifining experiential luxury.
