Hyderabad, June 16, 2025: The 5th edition of StyleTatva, the flagship fashion and lifestyle exhibition by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad Chapter, concluded at Hitex on Saturday evening. The two-day extravaganza showcased the vibrant spirit of women entrepreneurship and India’s rich craft legacy, drawing over 10,000 visitors.
Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mayor of GHMC, Smt. Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, the exhibition featured 250+ women-led brands across fashion, décor, wellness, and conscious living, representing diverse regions of India.

During her address, the Mayor called for a moment of silence to honour the victims of the recent plane crash. Commending FLO’s initiatives, she remarked, “StyleTatva is not just an exhibition—it’s a radiant platform for empowerment and legacy. Dokra is not just a craft—it is our cultural heritage. I feel like a part of FLO already, and once my tenure ends, I’d love to be officially involved.”
Guest of Honour, Mrs. Poonam Sharma, FLO National President, highlighted the importance of women’s representation in public life: “Women constitute half the population. Their leadership is essential—not just in business, but in policy and governance too.”
Renowned celebrity stylist Dolly Jain shared her inspiring journey with Indian sarees: “In the last 17 years, I replaced gowns at weddings with sarees, proving they can be equally chic. I’ve draped sarees in 325 styles and hold a world record for draping one in just 18.5 seconds.”
Prathibha Kunda, Chairperson of FLO Hyderabad, outlined the key achievements of the 2025 edition: “Powered by the Ministry of MSME, this edition of StyleTatva featured a special Initiative Pavilion dedicated to reviving Dokra, the 4,000-year-old tribal craft from Adilabad. Our goal is to blend traditional techniques with modern aesthetics to ensure its sustainability.”
“This year, FLO embarked on a journey to bring the powerful story of Dokra art from Adilabad to the forefront. It is a key initiative for us. We aim to revive the 4,000-year-old Dokra metal casting craft by supporting artisans through awareness, design intervention, and market linkages”, Prathibha added.
“We are not merely preserving this tradition; we are evolving it. By working closely with artisans from Ushegaon, Jamgaon, and Keslaguda, we are transforming Dokra from traditional temple idols into functional, contemporary designs that blend heritage with modern utility,” she added.
