New Delhi, Jan 05th: Shri Amit Tandon assumed charge as Director (Projects) with effect from 2 January 2026. His tenure will be until his superannuation on 31 January 2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.Shri Amit Tandon is a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in railway and metro infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (1991) and is an officer of the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE).
Prior to assuming charge as Director (Projects) at RVNL, Shri Tandon was serving as Principal Executive Director at RVNL (Rail Vikas Nigam Limited), Kolkata PIU, where he oversaw key projects including metro systems, highway bridges (such as the Kona Expressway), and track works.
