Mumbai, 02nd April 2025: Acclaimed artist Mridul Chandra’s latest solo exhibition, Scenes/Unseen, opened to an overwhelming response at Jehangir Art Gallery (Hirji Gallery), Mumbai. Inaugurated by Mr. Rajendra Patil, President of The Bombay Art Society and Founder of India Art Festival, the exhibition drew art enthusiasts, collectors, and critics alike, all captivated by Chandra’s evocative depictions of the seen and unseen worlds.

The highlight of the exhibition was Chandra’s striking collection inspired by Hampi—a series that transported viewers into the mystical ruins and ethereal landscapes of the ancient city. Reflecting on the overwhelming response, Chandra shared, “It has been heartening to see such an emotional connection between my art and the audience. Hampi, with its grandeur and spiritual energy, has always fascinated me, and I wanted to capture that essence on canvas. Seeing viewers resonate with those emotions has been truly fulfilling.”
