New Delhi, Jan 19: RR Kabel, one of India’s leading consumer electrical and wire and cable manufacturers, announced the national winners of the Kabel Star Scholarship Program 2025, an initiative dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of children of electricians—fondly known as Kabel Dost. This year witnessed a record number of applicants nationwide, with nearly 1,000 students selected as scholarship recipients. The scholarship program, now completing its 4th year and entering its 5th year, has benefitted close to 4,000 students across India, each receiving an individual scholarship of ₹10,000. With an annual allocation of over ₹1 crore, RR Kabel has cumulatively invested ₹4 crore in nurturing academic advancement and enabling equal opportunities for the electrician community’s children.
As part of this year’s program, more than 50 outstanding winners along with their parents will be given an exclusive opportunity to visit RR Kabel’s manufacturing facility, offering them first-hand exposure to industry operations and innovation.
Now in its fourth edition, the program continues to grow in scale, impact, and reach. Launched in 2022, the Kabel Star Scholarship aims to empower deserving students who have successfully completed their Class 10 board examinations by providing financial support for their higher secondary education.
As part of the celebration, outstanding performers from previous seasons were also acknowledged and felicitated for their continued academic excellence. Highlighting the program’s long-term vision, over 50 toppers from across Season 1 and 2 received laptops to enhance their academic progress, underscoring the company’s commitment to nurturing students throughout their educational journey.
