The PHD Chamber appreciates all time high exports achieved in the year 2021-22 including merchandise exports of USD 419.6 billion and services exports of USD 250 billion.
India has been able to exceed the overall exports target of USD 650 billion due to timely reforms measures undertaken by the Government and best efforts put in by the trade and industry, said Mr. Pradeep Multani, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Going ahead, reforms for ease of doing business at the factory level would be crucial to achieve USD 500 billion merchandise exports in 2022-23, said Mr Pradeep Multani
Overall exports are expected to leap US $ 800 billion in 2022-23 on the back of India’s enhanced competitiveness in the global markets, said the industry body PHDCCI
