Bengaluru, Jan 13: Hitachi Energy India organized The Energy Run 2.0 in Bengaluru on Sunday, bringing together employees, customers, and partners to celebrate collective effort, wellbeing, and the shared purpose of powering India’s growth.

Anchored around the theme “Together, we power India,” the run reflected the importance of health and wellbeing, recognizing the importance of physical resilience and balance as essential foundations for sustaining long-term health and performance at work

The Energy Run 2.0 attracted over 2,500 participants, comprising employees from Hitachi Energy India along with customers, partners, and the Hitachi Group companies in India, and their family members. Participants took part in the 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km run categories, creating an inclusive platform that brought together people of varied fitness levels and backgrounds.

Sharing his excitement on the run, N. Venu, Managing Director and CEO – India & South Asia, Hitachi Energy, said, “The Energy Run is a reflection of how we work at Hitachi Energy. The Energy Run brings the spirit of oneness to life while also highlighting the importance of health and wellbeing for our people.”

Hitachi Energy has been present in India for nearly 75 years, supporting critical infrastructure across utilities, industry, transportation, data centres, and urban development. Over the decades, the company has played a key role in strengthening India’s power infrastructure, enabling renewable energy integration, and advancing technologies aligned with the country’s long-term energy transition goals.
