Narayana unveils Guidecast, a podcast offering expert insights for every parentHyderabad, July 19th, 2024: Narayana Educational Institutions, with a 45-year legacy, has been pivotal in fulfilling countless student dreams; unveiled a new podcast, Guidecast by Narayana, today; to address topics like mental and physical health to help parents strengthen relationships with their children. The first season is focused on mental well-being, offering guidance and support for students facing challenges.

Narayana Educational Institutions launched the Disha Programme to support students’ mental and emotional well-being, recognising that academic success is just one aspect of development. Since 2017, the program, led by Ms. Vijayalakshmi K, has grown significantly. With over 100 psychologists, Disha reaches 283 schools and 279 colleges, conducting 3,500 group interactions annually. Last year, they supported over 300,000 students, with 15,000 receiving individual support, showcasing Narayana’s commitment to holistic student development.

Dr. P. Sindhura, Director at Narayana Educational Institutions, emphasised the importance of mental well-being in their educational philosophy. “At Narayana, we believe that a child’s mental health is as important as their academic performance. Guidecast is our way of ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed both academically and personally.”
