St. Peters-based agency owner Mark Tomlin joins Powers’ family owned and operated organization

(St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 17, 2022) M&T Insurance Agency recently merged with Powers Insurance & Risk Management, one of the largest family owned and operated independent insurance agencies in the bi-state region. M&T Insurance agency owner Mark Tomlin will continue to serve his clients in a new role as Powers’ Risk Management Advisor.

Founded in 2006 by Tomlin, M&T Insurance Agency was based in St. Peters, Mo. and specialized in personal and business insurance. Tomlin brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience to the company. He holds a Life Underwriter Training Council designation, a Life and Health Insurance license, and a Property & Casualty license.

“This merger provides a higher level of service to my clients based upon Powers’ extensive training in both commercial and personal line policies,” said Tomlin. “Our agencies and skill sets complement each other, making this combined company a comprehensive fit for all involved.” Tomlin added that he will remain “engaged with my clients, who will benefit from the additional resources and support that Powers offers.”

Tomlin’s responsibilities include generating leads for personal lines accounts, as well as retaining new and renewal clients while promoting new business in the property and casualty marketplace.
