Started in 1999, the Fellow Programme in Management at MDI Gurgaon, is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to a PhD degree of an Indian University.

The programme is offered in two tracks – Residential and Non-Residential. The Non-residential track is designed to cater to the scholarly needs of working executives. It develops outstanding scholars for careers in management practice and consulting especially for creating innovative solutions to the real-world problems across sustainability and technology domains. The FPM Residential track aims to develop outstanding scholars for knowledge creation and dissemination through teaching and/or research careers at leading Business Schools/Universities or Management Research Institutions.
To accomplish this, the programme provides participants with specialized knowledge and research skills across various management domains like Accounting & Finance, Business Communication, Information Management, Economics & Public Policy, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management. The faculty at MDI Gurgaon is a healthy blend of academicians, policy makers, administrators and managers. As a consequence, the students are able to get a rich mix of state-of-the-art academic research as well as best practices from industry.
Financial Assistance to the Residential Scholars:
· Monthly Stipend 60,000
· Contingency Grant 1.5 Lakh
· Conference Grant 4 Lakh
· International Research Funding Support upto 2.5 Lakh
Eligibility Criteria
● A minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA along with Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division) or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE/AIU OR
● Five-year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) with at least 60% marks (with first division) OR
● A graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks and a professional qualification like CA, CMA, CS with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade point average
The maximum age limit to apply for the FPM Residential Programme is 50 Years. For FPM Non-Residential, a minimum age of 35 years and a minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience, preferably at senior-level, is required as on last date of application.
Applications for the FPM 2026 batch are now open and will close on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Candidates are required to apply through Standard Tests like CAT/GMAT/GRE/ UGC-JRF/GATE, scores valid as on the last date of application. Candidates with gender diversity, PWD (person with a disability), EWS (Economically weaker section), or rural-urban diversity are encouraged to apply for the FPM programme.
