Ahmedabad, India, 23rd June 2025: Indira IVF Hospital Limited enters into an agreement to acquire a stake in Banker Healthcare Private Limited, a renowned fertility centre in Ahmedabad. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Indira IVF’s journey to expand its presence and strengthen its footprint across Gujarat. The collaboration enhances the organization’s ability to support more aspiring parents in their fertility journeys. With this addition, Indira IVF’s presence in Gujarat now includes centres across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Mehsana, and other key locations.
Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Banker IVF brings over three decades of clinical experience. The centre supports individuals and couples on their fertility journeys, including those with complex medical histories or prior treatment experiences. Now part of Indira IVF, Banker IVF will continue its legacy, supported by shared values, technological advancements, and an expanded capacity to serve patients across the region.
Dr. Manish Banker and his experienced team will continue to provide assisted reproductive technology (ART) and IVF services, aiming to promote consistency in patient care and clinical support. Additionally, Dr. Banker will be associated with Indira IVF as Chief Clinical Mentor, where he will offer guidance to clinical teams across the network, share insights, and support efforts to enhance overall patient experience.
This development comes amid shifting demographic trends. According to recent records from the state government, Gujarat has witnessed a 7% decline in its child population over the past decade, signalling a broader drop in birth rates. Lifestyle changes, an increase in age at marriage, deferring childbearing due to a focus on career and more highlight a rise in infertility challenges, particularly in urban areas. As awareness of fertility health grows, the need for structured and evidence-based treatment is more critical than ever. The integration of Banker IVF contributes to the wider availability of such services across the state.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Kshitiz Murdia, CEO and Whole Time Director, Indira IVF, said, “This collaboration represents a positive step in our continued efforts to make fertility care more accessible while upholding high clinical standards. Banker IVF brings valuable experience and regional understanding that, alongside Indira IVF’s operational reach and digital capabilities, can help us strengthen our support for patients across Gujarat. We’re glad to have Dr. Manish Banker associated with Indira IVF as Chief Clinical Mentor, where he will provide clinical guidance and share insights with our teams. Our shared aim is to enhance the patient journey thoughtfully and responsibly”
Dr. Manish Banker, Director, Banker IVF, said, “At Banker IVF, our goal has always been to offer patient-centric fertility care informed by clinical experience and individual needs [ Joining hands with Indira IVF opens new opportunities to scale our impact while continuing to uphold the quality and integrity that define our practice. This collaboration brings together two institutions with shared values and complementary strengths, creating a platform to advance fertility care in Gujarat and beyond. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of care while evolving to meet our patients’ growing and diverse needs”
With this addition, Indira IVF further strengthens its presence in the western region while building a network of fertility centres across the country. Now operating in over 150 locations, the organisation remains focused on expanding responsibly into new geographies and delivering standardised, evidence-based medicine that meets the evolving needs of patients nationwide.
