India, Feb 13: GTT Data Solutions Ltd a BSE-listed enterprise software company building AI-driven data intelligence platforms for regulated industries, today announced the appointment of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor Al Thani to its Board of Directors.
His appointment marks a significant milestone in GTT’s journey to scale its enterprise AI and insurance data intelligence platforms globally while deepening partnerships with large enterprises, financial institutions, and government stakeholders. His experience in governance, policy, financial institutions, and national-scale data frameworks aligns closely with GTT’s vision to build scalable data intelligence platforms for sectors such as insurance, banking, healthcare, and government across global markets. As GTT expands internationally and strengthens its AI and data platforms through strategic integrations, his leadership and guidance is expected to support deeper engagement with global investors, enterprise clients, and government partnerships.
Sheikh Hamad brings decades of experience across economic strategy, statistics, national planning, and governance. He previously served as Director General of the General Secretariat for Development Planning (GSDP) in Qatar and Chairman of the Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA), where he played a pivotal role in shaping the Qatar National Vision 2030 initiative and driving national census and economic development programs. He has also served on the boards of major Qatari institutions, including Qatar National Bank (QNB), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem).
