Dr. C.G. Krishnadas Nair delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the critical role of indigenous technology in the evolution of space vehicles and aeroplanes. It was followed by the speech of Dr S. Somanath, former Chairman of ISRO, who shared his vision for the next generation of aerospace developments.
The inauguration highlighted the rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Digital Twins into the aerospace domain. The various industry experts present at the event noted that these technologies are no longer futuristic concepts but essential tools for ensuring the safety, reliability, and economy of modern aircraft and drones.
Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), speaking at the occasion, stated, “The future of aerospace and advanced engineering lies in integration—of disciplines, technologies, and generations. ICACEAA 2025 creates a vital platform where legendary scientists and emerging researchers collaborate, translate research into real-world impact, and inspire innovation that advances India’s scientific leadership while contributing solutions for global development.”
The inauguration was followed by a technical session from Dr. Prahlada Ramarao, the former head of the Akash Missile system at DRDO.
With over 9 plenary lectures, 35 keynote addresses, and 60 research papers scheduled, ICACEAA-2025 serves as a vital forum for stakeholders to chart a path for the future of flight. The conference will continue through December 20, featuring special industry sessions aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and commercial application.
JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) aims to create more such platforms to support dialogues of innovation and to address the challenges involved in such an endeavour.
