Devic Earth wins the VentuRise Global Startup Challenge Award at the Global Investors Meet 2022 hosted by Invest Karnataka
Mumbai / Bengaluru/ New Delhi, November 08th, 2022: Devic Earth, the global leader in ambient air pollution control technology used by Environment & Sustainability leaders, is pleased to announce that it has won the first prize at the VentuRise Global Startup Challenge Award 2022 organized by TiE Bangalore.
The VentuRise Global Startup Challenge Award 2022 is an initiative by TiE Bangalore that is aimed at aiding emerging startups and entrepreneurs worldwide, in the manufacturing and sustainability categories and carries prize money of USD 100,000 for the top three successful candidates. The startup challenge was a stage for startups to present their cutting-edge solutions and make connections with potential investors and thus #BuildForTheWorld. The event was a part of the Global Investors Meet-Invest Karnataka 2022, which took place from November 2 to 4 at Bangalore Palace grounds.
Out of 1200 participants from around the world, Devic Earth was selected among the top 50 startups in the jury screening round to showcase its innovative solution Pure Skies to the esteemed panel of judges. As a next step, including multiple pitch presentations, the startup was selected among the top 10 startups for the final pitch presentation to the grand jury which resulted in the company’s selection among the top 3 innovative startups.
Devic Earth then went on to become the people’s choice in the audience poll and receive the first prize from the Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Basavaraj Bommai, in the category of sustainability, which included the prize money of 40 Lakhs to #BuildForTheWorld.
