The annual sports meet for the students of Jagannath University, JCC and JIMS, Rohini, Delhi commenced with great enthusiasm on November 13, 2024. The program was formally inaugurated by Prof (Dr.) V.K. Aggarwal, Pro-Chancellor, Jagannath University, along with senior officials.

Addressing an energized crowd of students, faculty members, and honoured guests, Dr. Aggarwal underscored the crucial role that sports play in the holistic development of young individuals. “Sports are essential for the all-around growth and development of youth. Engaging in sports nurtures both mental and physical health, empowering students for future challenges,” Dr. Aggarwal stated.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with students actively participating in a variety of indoor and outdoor games, including cricket, football, tug-of-war, carom, and chess. The senior students took on the role of organizing and overseeing the events, adding to the sense of community and teamwork.

The dream of developed India (Viksit Bharat) will come true with the contribution of the youth of our country.

The Annual Sports Meet will continue from 13th Nov to 16th Nov, highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that define the student community.
