New Delhi, 08th January 2025: On2Cook India Private Limited, the creators of the world’s fastest cooking device On2Cook, is now officially India’s first Intellectual Property-driven company. The company has bagged the coveted honour at the recently-concluded CII Industrial Intellectual Property Awards 2024. The awards were a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Annual Summit on Technology, which focused this year on Intellectual Property and Industry-Academia Partnerships. Symbolizing On2Cook’s relentless pursuit for excellence and vision to revolutionize every kitchen around the world, the coveted recognition comes after On2Cook secured at least 14 patents in India, US, European Union, Russia and the UK.
Sharing his thoughts on the landmark feat, Sanandan Sudhir, the inventor of the path-breaking global-first AI-based combination cooking device On2Cook, said, “We are proud that in a nation of 1.4 billion people and nearly 1 crore registered MSMEs, On2Cook is leading the way as one of India’s firsts IP-driven company in the kitchen space. We intend to set even bigger benchmarks in culinary innovation internationally with 20+ more patent applications already filed across different countries. We thank the CII and jury for recognizing our IP-centric product development model, and kudos to Team On2Cook for creating new landmarks in the global cooking industry.”
On2Cook is the only cooking device in the world that integrates microwave, induction and flame technologies, with AI-backed advanced features like automated stirring and addition of oil, water etc. While it cooks anything in just one-third the usual time, the cooked food is more nutritious than that prepared through any other existing cooking methodology. The safety testing for the devices has been rigorously conducted in accordance with IEC 60335-2-6 and IEC 60335-2-25, the critical standards for microwave and induction safety.
On2Cook was previously awarded as the ‘Best Emerging Food Tech’ at the prestigious Food Connoisseurs India Awards – South India Edition. Additionally, the global-first cooking invention has bagged the IF Design award, British Invention Show – Diamond Award for best International Invention, and the most celebrated Invention at CES, Las Vegas 2022. The AI-based Combination Cooking device has also featured in the Forbes DGEMS 2023 list, naming 200 select companies with global business potential.
