Mumbai, January 04, 2023: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and a Fortune Global 500 Company, bagged eight coveted awards at the 44th PRSI All India Public Relations Conference, held at an event in Bhopal recently. The energy major has been lauded for its Branding Activities, Public Relations Initiatives, and R&D activities.
On behalf of Bharat Petroleum, the awards were received by Shri Pranab Rakshit, Chief Manager (R&D), Dr. Pravin Kuhikar, Sr. Manager (Information Services), and Mr. Aniruddha Kulkarni, Manager (R&D).
The company’s Corporate PR and Brand swept awards in the categories of ‘Best use of Social Media in Corporate Campaign’, ‘Public Relations in Action’, ‘House Journal (English)’, ‘Annual Report’, ‘Best Communication Campaign (Internal Publics) for Brand Quiz Baadshah’ and ‘Best Employee Communication Program for Radio Tarang’.
Additionally, BPCL Corporate Research & Development Centre won awards in two categories – ‘Best Initiative for Promoting Science and Technology – K Model®’ and ‘Best R & D Efforts for Promoting Science and Technology – Bharat Hi-Star Stove’.
Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), the national association of PR practitioners was established in 1958 to promote the recognition of public relations as a profession and to formulate and interpret to the public the objectives and the potentialities of public relations as a strategic management function.
