Pune: Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform, has announced the winners of its inaugural Swiggy Restaurant Awards 2024 for Pune. With over 1 lakh votes from city users expressing their preferences across 25 categories, the awards were a huge success, celebrating Pune’s rich culinary heritage and vibrant food culture.
Pune’s love for a variety of cuisines was evident, with a total of 1,14,557 votes cast across categories including Biryani, Pizza, Burger, Ice Creams, Vada Pav, Chinese, Cakes and Desserts, and Rolls among others, it’s clear that Pune’s food lovers are passionate about their favourite eateries.
Flavourful Biryani from Aroma’s Hyderabad House received the highest votes among the top picks. In the Pizza category, Domino’s Pizza emerged as an all-time favourite in Pune with the most votes, followed by Pizza Hut. Joshi Wadewale’s iconic vada pavs garnered widespread popularity among food enthusiasts, while Kimling emerged as a go-to destination for Chinese cuisine, delighting diners with its diverse and delectable offerings.
The awards celebrate not just the restaurants, but also the vibrant food culture of Pune, as voted by over 35,000 enthusiastic users.
