Rewari Sector, 22: The allotment process for 3,354 affordable housing flats in Sector 22, Rewari, developed by Tathastu Realty, has been completed after the project received more than 8,000 applications, reflecting strong demand for budget housing in the NCR region.
According to project details, the development includes 2,753 units under Tathastu I and 601 units under Tathastu II. All units were opened for allotment and attracted significant participation, primarily from first-time homebuyers and middle-income families.
The flats are priced at ₹4,500 per sq. ft. for a 645 sq. ft. unit, while an additional 100 sq. ft. balcony is priced at ₹1,200 per sq. ft. The pricing aligns with Haryana’s affordable housing policy guidelines, making the project accessible to budget-conscious buyers.
Real estate analysts note that the strong response comes amid a slowdown in new affordable housing launches across NCR markets over the past two years. Rising land costs and construction expenses have limited supply in this segment, while most new developments have focused on premium and luxury housing categories.
Commenting on the response, Neeraj K. Mishra, Executive Director, Tathastu Realty, said “the sustained aspiration for homeownership among families looking for quality housing at accessible price points.”.
Industry observers also point to Rewari’s improving connectivity and regional growth as key factors supporting demand. The area has emerged as an affordable alternative to major NCR cities due to lower property prices and infrastructure development.
The allotment of units has been finalised through the prescribed process as per applicable affordable housing norms.
Experts say the strong response underscores that affordable housing continues to remain a key demand driver in the region’s residential real estate market.
