Auxano Capital Backs Bodmas Technologies to Boost Data-Driven Retail Solutions

8th January 2025: Bodmas Technologies, a retail analytics company raised its maiden funding from Auxano Capital. The investment will support its brand ClicFlyer in advancing its technology infrastructure, expanding its network of retail stores and partner brands, and exploring new business integrations.

Founded in 2015 by Neville Mody and Rahul Sood, ClicFlyer focuses on addressing challenges in retail and consumer engagement. The company provides an integrated platform designed to assist brands and retailers in analyzing and optimizing promotional campaigns while offering consumers a centralized way to access deals and discounts.

ClicFlyer’s offerings include analytics solutions for brands to measure the return on investment (ROI) of marketing efforts, business intelligence tools to assess promotional performance and pricing strategies, and a mobile application that curates real-time promotions from over 7,400 outlets and 9,000 brands. The mobile application currently serves more than 150 retailers, 9,000 brands, and over one million monthly users, with a significant presence in the Middle East and Africa region.

Rahul Sood, Co-founder and Managing Director of ClicFlyer said, “This funding will allow us to enhance our analytics platform’s capabilities and strengthen our partnerships with retail stores and brands. By providing actionable insights, we aim to help retailers and CPG brands better align their promotions with consumer needs, ensuring a more efficient and impactful approach to marketing.”

With the growth of ecommerce and online channels, retailers have increased their digital promotional spending to target the rising segment of online-first consumers, amounting to $132 Bn in 2023. However, many retailers struggle to measure the effectiveness of these promotions due to inadequate data aggregation, leading to wasted expenditures and missed opportunities for revenue growth.

ClicFlyer’s platform addresses these challenges by centralizing data and providing tools that support data-driven decisions. This approach enables businesses to better align promotional efforts with market demands and consumer preferences.
