22nd Feb 2024: Pimatic Oy, a global leader in providing high-quality customized pneumatic solutions, is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year. Established in 1974 in Huittinen, Finland, Pimatic has emerged as a trusted name in the industry, with a strong presence worldwide.
Pimatic develops, manufactures, delivers, and services components, actuators, and systems for applied pneumatics and low-pressure hydraulics. It has been at the forefront of applied pneumatics since its inception, and its continued success can be attributed to its dedication to providing innovative solutions for various industries, such as paper, mining, transportation and logistics, and the energy and process field.
The company was founded by Tapio Heino and Martti Pulli in 1973, and the operations started in February 1974. The initial impetus to establish Pimatic arose not only from the favorable competitive situation but also from Heino’s frustration with the long delivery time of parts coming from abroad. At that time, only a little pneumatic equipment was manufactured in Finland, which is why the delivery time of imported parts could stretch to weeks and months.
Pimatic will celebrate the anniversary all year long. The celebrations start with the anniversary gala for employees, and other functions are planned for customers and stakeholders later in the year.
