18 January 2024: VST Tillers Tractors Ltd, one of India’s leading farm equipment manufacturers, showcased its range of innovative products at the Krushi Odisha exhibition at Janata Maidan, Jaydev Vihar, Bhubaneswar. In line with the theme of the exhibition ‘Celebrating Women in Agriculture’ VST is displaying smart farm machines that are compact, handy, and easy to use for women farmers. Honourable Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik Inaugurated the exhibition.
VST Tillers Tractors, which commands a leadership position in power tillers with more than 70 percent market share, is working with the State Government towards women empowerment in Agriculture by supporting them with innovative Smart Farm Machines.
It was a wide range of products from 2 HP to 50 HP used in different applications and crops The Products were appreciated by women farmers, WSHG, and officials of the agriculture and food production department at the exhibition. Major attractions at the stall were the remote-controlled power tiller, electric start 16 HP power tiller & 932 DI owners’ tractor (32 HP category).
Another attraction from VST Tillers Tractors at the show is, the VST 929DI EGT compact tractor which is equipped with a three-cylinder 30 HP category DI Engine, and offers higher power, Torque, and greater fuel efficiency. The Tractors is available with a unique DUAL TRAC feature to manage the narrowest working in the sugarcane field while operating with Standard Trac in other fields. VST’s Series 9 range of tractors are equipped with multiple features to meet the growing needs of farm mechanization at Orchard, vineyards, and Horticulture farms, some of the features like Fully Synchromesh Gearbox, and MID, RPTO, Independent PTO options are first-time in its segment Premium.

Department of Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment, Govt of Odisha is organizing the ‘Krushi Odisha 2024’, a three-day event from 12-14th January 2024 in Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. FICCI is a partner for the event. The theme for the event is ‘Celebrating Women in Agriculture’. The objective of the event is to recognize the contribution of women in the field of Agriculture and allied sectors and to initiate a platform for interface and linkage among women farmers, SHGs, women agri- agri-entrepreneurs, market players, service providers, agri-preneurs, and industry.
