
Oxford Model Public School Sameigadia, Bhubaneswar organised its 25th Annual Function on 12th April. Oxford Model Public School is one of the oldest schools located in Chakeisiani. At first, Principal cum Secretary Mr.Bhaskar Charchi welcome the guest on the dais. Many cultural events were also organized by the school students and staff toe entertain the crowd.
Mr. Suresh Kumar Routray, MLA Jatni, was the chief guest, and Mr. Susant Kumar Rout, MLA Bhubaneswar North was the chief speaker. Many other dignitaries from various filed were also graced the occasion as guests of honors: Mr. Chaitanya Charan Das, Former President of Durga Puja Committee, Chakeisiani; Mrs. Minushree Khuntia, Corporator Word No 5, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation; Mr. Nagendranath Pati, Social Worker; Mr.Chinmaya Sunder Das, General Secretary, Congress Committee; Prof. Ramakanta Mahapatra, Reader of Mathematics & Poet
Mr. Laximdhar Pradhan, Lecturer in Political Science; Dasarathi Rout, Vice President of Village Committee Chakeisihani; Mr.Parsumar Pati, Social Worker; Mr. Artatrana Pati, Social Worker; Actress Miss Mamata Nanda, (Manini), and Miss. Banija Panda.

In the beginning, Mr. Laximdhar Pradhan, Lecturer in Political Science; in his address stressed the importance of fundamental rights and the Indian constitution. He also encouraged students to follow the path to achieve success through determination.
Mr. Suresh Kumar Routray, MLA Jatni, and Senior Congress leader addressed the gathering in his own style, which is much more popular in Odisha. Speaking on the occasion he expresses the importance of education and the greatness of Odisha state and its cities.
Actress Miss Mamata Nanda, (Manini), and Miss. Banija Panda also addressed and sang songs to entertain the audience. They also distributed the certificates to students who won prizes in various competitions. Students staged dramas title as ‘Shree Jagannath’ and ‘Corona – Deadly Virus’ . Both the dramas were written and directed by the Principal cum secretary Mr.Bhaskar Charchi.
In the end, students performed various dance programmes, which was much likely by the audience.
