Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach Reopens The Square with a Fresh Look and a Stronger Andhra Culinary Identity

Visakhapatnam, 07 October 2026: Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach has reopened The Square, its much-loved all-day dining restaurant, with a refreshed look, an elevated multi cuisine buffet experience and a dedicated showcase of Andhra flavours. Long recognised as one of the city’s most popular dining addresses, The Square now enters a new chapter that celebrates both its strong local connection with Visakhapatnam and its wider appeal as a familiar Novotel dining brand across India.

The relaunch was inaugurated by Mr. V. Prabhu Kishore, Chairman, Varun Group, in the presence of the hotel leadership, team members and guests. The reopening marks an important moment for Visakhapatnam’s dining scene, bringing renewed attention to a restaurant that has hosted family celebrations, business meals, weekend buffets and special occasions for many years.

A Fresh Look for a Familiar Vizag Favourite

The refreshed restaurant has been designed to feel contemporary, warm and versatile while retaining the familiarity that regular guests associate with The Square. With its seafront setting overlooking the Bay of Bengal, the restaurant is positioned for relaxed family meals, business lunches, weekend gatherings, celebrations and destination dining experiences for visitors to the city.

Andhra Flavours Take Centre Stage

At the heart of the relaunch is a dedicated Andhra culinary section that brings regional recipes, local ingredients and familiar home-style flavours into focus. The enhanced buffet combines Indian and international favourites with dishes that reflect the culinary diversity of Andhra Pradesh, giving local diners a stronger sense of place while offering travellers an accessible introduction to the region’s food culture. The refreshed beverage menu, live counters and wider buffet spread add to the restaurant’s renewed appeal.

Local Relevance, International Appeal

The relaunch comes at a time when travellers are increasingly seeking dining experiences that are rooted in the destination while offering the variety of international flavours and cuisines. The Square is already a recognised all-day dining name at several Novotel hotels across the country, and the Visakhapatnam edition now strengthens that national familiarity with a distinctly Andhra identity. For the city, the reopening adds momentum to Visakhapatnam’s growing reputation as a coastal destination for hospitality, food and leisure.

Mr. V. Prabhu Kishore, Chairman, Varun Group, said: “The Square has been part of Visakhapatnam’s dining landscape for many years, and we have seen generations of guests celebrate meaningful moments here. With this relaunch, our intention is to build on that trust while creating a fresh and contemporary dining experience. The enhanced multi-cuisine offering brings together a wider variety of flavours, complemented by live counters and a dedicated selection of Andhra favourites. We are delighted to welcome guests back to The Square and look forward to creating many more memorable dining experiences.”

Lakshmi Sridhar, General Manager, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, said: “The Square has always had a strong connection with our guests and with the city of Visakhapatnam. As we refreshed the restaurant, our focus was to retain its warmth while making the experience more relevant for today’s diners. The new look, enhanced multi cuisine buffet and dedicated Andhra section reflect that approach. We look forward to welcoming local guests, business travellers and visitors to experience The Square once again.”

The Square at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach is now open for breakfast, lunch, Sunday brunch and dinner. With its refreshed setting, broader culinary offering and stronger regional emphasis, the restaurant is set to attract both loyal Vizag patrons and national travellers looking for a memorable dining experience by the Bay of Bengal.
