New Delhi, May 21: Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta, has shared a post on X encouraging young Indians to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI), describing it as a transformative tool that can significantly improve productivity, unlock entrepreneurial ideas and contribute to India’s growth journey.
In the post, Agarwal urged people not to fear AI but to actively engage with it, emphasizing that asking the right questions can unlock immense value. Drawing from personal experience, he noted that AI has helped save a significant amount of time, enhancing efficiency and productivity in ways that were previously unimaginable.
Highlighting the rapidly evolving global AI landscape, Agarwal pointed to China’s swift advancements in the field and underscored the need for India to accelerate its own adoption of AI-led innovation. He expressed confidence in India’s potential, citing the country’s technological strengths, English-speaking advantage and entrepreneurial mindset as key enablers in leveraging AI effectively.
Agarwal also encouraged youngsters to use AI to develop ideas and strategies for entrepreneurship, calling it a powerful tool to create jobs, eradicate poverty and contribute towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
In the post, he wrote:
“Sometimes I get a sense that people fear AI. Nobody should. Use it. Ask it the right questions.
I have experienced that it saves 75% of my time. And time is money. It will improve your productivity like you would never have imagined.
Look at what China has done with AI. In the last year or two, it has come almost level with America, leaving everyone else behind. The whole game has changed.
Indians have the DNA for tech. We speak English. And we can leverage AI better than everyone.
Youngsters should use it to develop ideas and strategies for entrepreneurship. It is the best tool to take our nation forward, to create jobs, to eradicate poverty and to fulfil the dream of our Prime Minister of a Viksit Bharat.
