New Delhi, Jan 24: Barista Coffee, India’s largest homegrown coffee chain, has achieved a significant growth milestone with the opening of its 500th café at Shaguna More, Patna. The landmark launch coincides with the brand completing its 26th year in India, marking a defining moment in Barista’s journey of building and shaping café culture across the country. The choice of Patna for this milestone café underscores Barista’s strategic focus on emerging cities, where rapid urbanisation, rising disposable incomes, and growing demand for premium café experiences present new opportunities for connecting with a broader base of coffee enthusiasts.

Since its inception in 2000, Barista has steadily evolved from a pioneering coffee chain into one of India’s most recognisable café brands. Today, the brand operates 500 cafés across 165+ cities, reflecting its sustained expansion beyond metros and its deepening presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. This growth underscores Barista’s ability to blend its strong legacy with evolving consumer preferences, while staying rooted in quality, innovation, and accessibility.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Rajat Agrawal, CEO, Barista Coffee, said, “ We are delighted to achieve another significant milestone in our growth journey with the launch of our 500th café in Patna. The launch signifies Barista’s commitment to the India market in the coffee industry and reflects steady growth across the region. We take great pride in our 26 years of continued service to customers, during which maintaining quality and consistency has always remained at the core of our brand. This journey has been shaped by customer trust and the dedication of our partners and teams nationwide.
