“Winning the gold medal at the National School Games is a deeply rewarding moment for me. Competing against the best young shooters from across the country tested my focus and discipline, and I am grateful to my coaches, mentors, and Greenwood High for their constant guidance and support. This milestone has strengthened my motivation to pursue shooting more seriously at the university level, with a long-term goal of representing India on the international stage.” said Ms. Nidhi Mittal, an IBDP Year 2 student from Greenwood High International School.
“We are immensely proud of Nidhi’s remarkable accomplishment at the National School Games. Her success is a reflection of her discipline, focus, and perseverance, as well as the strong sporting ecosystem at Greenwood High. We are confident that this is only the beginning of a promising journey for her in competitive shooting.” stated Mrs. Niru Agarwal, Managing Trustee of Greenwood High International School.
Nidhi has an impressive track record of competitive shooting. Among her achievements are two gold medals with the senior and junior teams, besides an individual bronze medal in the sub-youth category at the 12th Karnataka State Championship, July 2024. She has also achieved an overall state ranking of 6th.
