Pune, India Jan 19: Barnes Molding Solutions, the global polymer processing and injection molding technology group, will officially inaugurate its new greenfield production facility in Pune on 20 January 2026, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing presence in India and the wider Asian market. 

Operating under the Barnes Molding Solutions umbrella, which includes the brands Männer, Foboha, Synventive, Thermoplay, Priamus, and Gammaflux, the new facility represents a strategic step in strengthening local production capabilities in one of the world’s fastest-growing injection molding markets. 

Located in the Chakan industrial corridor, the Pune facility spans over 16,000 square metres and has been designed to support advanced manufacturing and service operations for customers across automotive, industrial manufacturing, electronics, packaging, and medical technology sectors. 

With India emerging as a major hub for advanced manufacturing, the new facility underscores Barnes Molding Solutions’ commitment to a local-for-local approach, allowing the group to serve Indian customers more efficiently while deepening technical collaboration and service support within the region.

At launch, the facility will offer an integrated range of capabilities for the manufacturing of hot runner systems for the Synventive and Thermoplay brands, including engineering support, mold flow analysis, assembly, after-sales service, and repair operations. 

The official opening will take place on January 20 as part of a formal inauguration ceremony, followed by customer and partner engagements on the 21st. Senior members of Barnes Molding Solutions’ global leadership team will be present in Pune for the launch.
