Jan 15: BITS Pilani, an institute of eminence, recognised for its strong academic foundations, research intensity, and culture of innovation, has announced the opening of applications for the International Students Admission Scheme 2026. The initiative is aimed at attracting high achieving international students holding non-Indian passports to its undergraduate engineering, science, and technology programmes offered across the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses.

The ISA Scheme reflects BITS Pilani’s long standing commitment to building globally diverse classrooms and preparing graduates for leadership in an increasingly interconnected world. Admissions under the scheme will be strictly merit-based and evaluated through competitive SAT scores, ensuring a transparent and rigorous selection process aligned with the institute’s academic standards.

International students admitted through the ISA Scheme to become part of a vibrant academic ecosystem that integrates classroom learning with hands on projects, research exposure, and entrepreneurial opportunities. The programme is designed to offer a holistic educational experience that blends academic depth with real world relevance.

As part of the ISA framework, limited merit-based tuition fee support may be available for eligible students in the initial semester, in line with institutional norms. Details regarding such support will be communicated to selected candidates at the time of admission.

Registration for ISA 2026 opened on December 12, 2025, and will close at 5:00 PM IST on April 5, 2026. Applicants will have an opportunity to review and edit their submitted applications during a dedicated window from April 13 to April 15, 2026. Registration requires a valid mobile number and email address, along with submission of essential documents including a recent passport size photograph, proof of citizenship or passport, signature, and Grade 12 marks sheet.

Announcing the admissions, V. Ramgopal Rao, Group Vice Chancellor, BITS Pilani, said, “The International Students Admission Scheme is central to our vision of building globally connected classrooms and campuses. At BITS Pilani, international students are not merely participants in our programmes. They are active contributors to academic dialogue, research culture, and the spirit of innovation. We look forward to welcoming talented students from across the world into an environment that values merit, curiosity, and impact.”

BITS Pilani reaffirms its commitment to cultivating a truly global learning environment and invites aspiring international students to be part of its academic and entrepreneurial legacy through the ISA Scheme 2026.
