Kolkata, Jan 13: Vikram Solar Limited, a prominent player in India’s solar photovoltaic manufacturing sector, has appointed Biresh Ranjan Das as Senior Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, he will lead the company’s people and culture agenda, working closely with the management to build organizational capability aligned with Vikram Solar’s growth plans and expanding global footprint.
As the renewable energy sector enters a phase of accelerated growth and industrial scale-up, the need for skilled, job-ready talent and leadership depth has become increasingly critical. Building capabilities at speed, across manufacturing, technology, and operations, requires focused investment in people, skills, and organizational readiness. Biresh’s appointment reflects Vikram Solar’s intent to proactively address this challenge by strengthening talent development, expanding the employability pool, and creating a sustainable pipeline of future-ready professionals for the clean energy ecosystem.
Biresh will oversee workforce strategy, organization design, productivity initiatives, and leadership development, with a focus on institutionalizing people processes and strengthening talent pipelines to meet the evolving demands of the clean energy industry.
With over 23 years of experience across manufacturing, telecom, hospitality, infrastructure, and global shared services, he brings a practical perspective on scaling organizations and aligning people strategy with business priorities in complex, multi-location environments.
