Bengaluru, India, Dec 29: One800, India’s first Live Mobile Repair platform, is set to redefine smartphone servicing with its Live Repair Streaming capability, allowing customers to watch their device being repaired in real time from its state-of-the-art service labs. The innovation introduces unprecedented transparency and quality assurance in a sector traditionally marked by limited visibility and inconsistent standards.
The company offers an app based mobile repair platform that allows customers to book & schedule repairs seamlessly in just a few clicks through One800’s website or app, making the entire service journey simple and transparent. Each facility follows a lab-first model, equipped with precision tools, anti-static workstations, controlled environments, and technicians certified across major smartphone brands, ensuring consistent repair outcomes, faster turnaround times, and high reliability, even for complex motherboard-level repairs. The company plans to establish 30–40 service centres across five major cities over the next 18–24 months, starting with Pune, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon. As its footprint scales, One800 is planning to strengthen partnerships with re-commerce and insurance players to become the mobile servicing backbone for refurbished devices and extended warranties. The company also plans to expand into laptop servicing, further establishing itself as India’s most transparent, technology-first device care ecosystem.
India is one of the world’s largest smartphone markets, with over 600 million users and growing demand for professional servicing. Many still rely on informal repair shops, and around 4 in 10 users require repeat visits for the same issue, highlighting gaps in quality, turnaround time, and trust. The ecosystem remains highly fragmented, with more than 266,000 repair shops nationwide, while the broader after-sales India market is expected to grow to USD 20 billion by 2025 (MAIT). In this high-demand environment. With live repair-streaming, certified technicians, and secure end-to-end processes, One800 brings clarity, consistency, and confidence to India’s fragmented repair ecosystem.
Debidutt Acharya, Co-founder and COO at One800, said, ‘’Live Repair-Streaming isn’t just a feature, it’s our commitment to giving customers complete control over their repair experience. For years, people have had to hand over their smartphones with no visibility into what happens behind the counter, and with genuine concerns about the safety of their personal data. With this capability, we are eliminating those blind spots, ensuring that every repair is performed transparently while the customer’s data remains fully protected. We’re setting a new benchmark for the Indian after-sales market, making smartphone care as transparent, reliable, and professional as the devices themselves.’’
As One800 plans to expand its footprint, its Live Service experience is emerging as a core differentiator in a market where transparency and trust have historically been missing from the repair and servicing process. Since evolving from an aggregator to a full-stack mobile management provider, One800 has completed 30,000+ repairs across 800+ models, supported initially through a 70+ partner network.
