Dehradun, October 01, 2025: JSW MG Motor India today handed over a specially designed Hector Ambulance to SPYM (Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses) to cater to elder care emergencies in the Dehradun district. SPYM has over 40 years of experience in social welfare, focusing on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, women, children, and persons affected by substance use. The handover was done in the august presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, at the CM House in Dehradun. The initiative coincides with the observance of the International Day for Older Persons and aims to strengthen emergency medical response services for the elderly population.

MG Hector redesigned into the ambulance, will be stationed primarily at Ram Vihar and Prem Nagar in Rishikesh, and will contribute to providing medical assistance at critical times. Equipped with essential medical facilities, such as Oxygen bottle, Oxygen system regulator, auto-loader stretcher, ventilator, and para-monitor, among others; the vehicle has been customized to ensure safe and swift transport during dire medical situations.
“At JSW MG Motor India, we are driven by a purpose beyond mobility – to positively impact communities through innovation and care. This initiative to serve the elderly population exemplifies how automotive technology can be adapted to provide swift access to emergency medical support.” said Yash Yadav, Head of Corporate Affairs, JSW MG Motor India.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Executive Director, SPYM, said, “We are grateful to JSW MG Motor India for their support in enhancing emergency response and care for our elderly citizens in Dehradun district.
