Bengaluru, June 21, 2025: In a nationwide display of unity through movement, India’s leading fitness brand cult successfully concluded Yogathon 2025 on the International Day of Yoga, with over one million Suryanamaskars performed by participants across India. The large-scale yoga initiative brought together individuals at cult centres, partner venues, offices, parks and homes through in-person gatherings and virtual participation.
The cult Yogathon 2025 was conducted in a hybrid format, with synchronised yoga sessions across over 250 cult centres in at least 25 cities pan-India and thousands joining online via the cult app and social media platforms. The fitness brand also partnered with corporate parks in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru to host yoga experiences outside conventional fitness spaces, making it more accessible and community-driven.
The largest gathering was held at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, where over 1,000 people participated in the event held in association with Fit India and graced by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. Bollywood actors Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh and Madhurima Tuli also joined the practice, making it a high-energy and widely attended public wellness event. The session was led by Divya Rolla, yoga expert at cult, in the presence of Bishnu Hazari, CFO, cult.
Mumbai, too, witnessed high-energy yoga gatherings across cult centres among other places, where cult partnered to turn everyday spaces into wellness zones. A huge number of people took part, reinforcing the financial capital’s interest in accessible, group-based fitness.
Reflecting on the milestone, Naresh Krishnaswamy, CEO of cult, said, “Fitness becomes powerful when it fits into your everyday life. With Yogathon, we didn’t just celebrate Yoga Day – we reimagined it. From tech parks to public spaces, homes to community centres, we saw people across ages and cities move together, breathe together, show up for their well-being. This is what cult stands for – making fitness social, accessible, and truly for everyone.”
Now in its sixth year, cult Yogathon continues to grow as a platform that promotes collective wellness and makes yoga approachable for all age groups and ability levels. The 2025 edition focused on inclusivity and scale, reinforcing the message that yoga is for everyone.
