This year’s theme, “Powering MSMEs through Technology for Growth”, highlights the increasing role of digitalization and emerging technologies such as AI and Generative AI in driving innovation, enhancing profitability, and expanding business opportunities—both domestically and internationally. Government Policies and Support

A major attraction of the MSME Mahotsav 2025 is the announcement of new government policies aimed at easing credit access, boosting exports, and fostering innovation in the sector. Financial institutions and policymakers have come together to introduce incentives, subsidies, and regulatory measures designed to empower MSMEs and enhance their contribution to India’s GDP.

As part of the government’s continued support for MSMEs, the Ministry of MSME organized “Udyam Utsav” in March 2025 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This event celebrated and empowered MSMEs, reinforcing the government’s commitment to the sector. The event was graced by the presence of President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, who visited Udyam Utsav, underscoring the nation’s support for small businesses. The Utsav is open to the public from March 20, 2025, to March 30, 2025, between 10 AM and 8 PM, allowing visitors to engage with MSMEs, explore innovative solutions, and learn about government initiatives.

Additionally, several other MSME-related trade fairs and exhibitions are planned throughout the year, providing ongoing opportunities for networking, investment, and business expansion.

Strengthening Global Collaborations

This year, the Mahotsav has also emphasized international partnerships, inviting trade representatives and investors from various countries to explore collaborations with Indian MSMEs. Such initiatives are expected to open new avenues for cross-border trade and technological exchange, strengthening India’s position in the global business landscape.

A Vision for Entrepreneurial Excellence

Speaking about the event, Mr. Arvind Singh, the organizer of MSME Mahotsav 2025, said, “We are thrilled to bring together industry leaders and MSMEs under one roof to discuss the future of the sector. With the right use of technology and access to finance, we believe that MSMEs can achieve 10x growth in the next 7 years. This event will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, ultimately driving the growth of the MSME sector.”

MSME Mahotsav 2025 is not just an event—it is a movement to uplift and support small businesses, driving them toward greater innovation and success. By integrating digitalization, sustainability, and financial empowerment, the Mahotsav sets the stage for the next generation of entrepreneurs to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

As the MSME sector continues to be the backbone of India’s economy, this Mahotsav serves as a beacon of progress, ensuring that small enterprises remain at the forefront of economic transformation and global expansion.
